So, the theme for January was 'itty bits'. I had a bit of cute heart print cotton and after packing up some cookies in plastic sandwhich/snack bags for the week, I really didn't like how much trash that would make.
I had made two reusable snack bags last May and wondered where they were. I found them but I needed more and so that's what I made with the fabric.
I used this tutorial here from Cotton Bottom Mama. They're so easy and you can make a lot of them really quick.
Here's mine, I made six of them:
I still had some of this fabric left over and I didn't want to make more bags in the same print and also didn't want to have any leftover fabric. So I made a simple pillow:
Very cute! We use snack bags around here too and I am in need of making some new ones. I made our about 3 years ago and have seen better days. My kids are fully involved in fabric selection though so there wasn't time for that this month...I joined too late for fussy fabric pickers! I look forward to seeing next months project! Good Luck.
