A Simple Underscarf

This was made last month actually, but I never got any pictures taken of it. I made an underscarf out of a stretch fabric. When I saw the fabric I knew this was what I wanted to make with it. And I'm even wearing it right now, because I'm about to go out soon.
I used an existing underscarf as a template and made it in less than 20 minutes. They're so easy and I'll have to make my own from now on because apparently the company that used to make them isn't anymore. Honestly, I got upset over it for about five minutes and almost bought a bunch and then I said 'I can just make my own' and everything was ok again. I only like this kind, I don't like any other kind and I've tried different ones, I hate the tie back style...Anyways, here it is, it's wrinkled because it's been in a drawer for a few weeks and it's also a bit more red than it looks in this picture:

In case you're wondering, it's worn to keep stray hair back and also to keep the headscarf/hijab from sliding all over the place.

  1. How interesting! I am glad you persevered and made your own - now you can make them whenever you like!
