Busy Weekend

It looks like I won't have time to do the HSF challenge #3, under it all. I just won't have time and I also don't know what to make. Sure, there's lots of things I could make, but I don't want to make more underwear right now. Maybe later...
I'm currently working on an old lady costume for the daughter of a friend of a friend and then I think I'll do some more stashbusting. My oldest needs a red jacket for school and another jumper, I think I'll be making those for this month. The fabric is coming from my stash, but it's not anything I posted earlier. But that's ok, it's getting used up and that's what matters!

Here's half of the old lady costume. I need to add trim and a hook and eye. There's going to be a black skirt to go with it. It's for a school project.

This is the fabric for my daughter's red jacket. I like to line these kinds of things with something fun, it's so much better than boring.

I even managed to make a cake. It turned out delicious. It's called: Magically Moist Almond Cake, from Bob's Red Mill. I added some almond extract in place of vanilla. Recipe here.
